Gaskets for oil and gas

Wellheads, pipelines and gas processing plants run at high pressure, often with sour or corrosive media. A leak means lost production and a safety incident. We supply QGER gaskets for every flange class in upstream and midstream service, from Class 150 pipeline flanges to API 6A wellhead equipment.

Points to watch

  • Ring gaskets must be softer than the flange groove. Tell us the flange material so we can match ring hardness.
  • For sour (H₂S) service, state the NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 requirement in your enquiry and we will confirm suitable materials.
  • Never reuse a ring type joint. It deforms on make-up and will not seal a second time.
