Gaskets for water and desalination
Desalination and water plants handle seawater, brine and treatment chemicals around the clock. Chlorides attack ordinary steels, and drinking water lines need approved materials. We supply gaskets matched to both, from low-pressure mains to high-pressure reverse osmosis lines.

These are typical starting points. Final selection depends on your service conditions and is confirmed with QGER engineering before manufacture.
Points to watch
- Seawater and brine pit ordinary stainless steel. Tell us the chloride level and temperature so we can pick the metal for rings and windings.
- Use only approved elastomers on drinking water. Ask for WRAS-approved EPDM where your specification requires it.
- Where flanges of different metals meet, an insulation kit stops galvanic corrosion.
